Cycle
1. A sequence of operations that is repeated regularly. The time it takes for one such sequence to occur.
2. The interval of time during which an event or set of events is completed. For example, in production control, a cycle is the length of time between the release of a manufacturing order and shipment to the customer.
3. The interval of time during which a process or system, such as a manufacturing operation, periodically returns to similar initial conditions.
