CMOS RAM

Abbreviation for: Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor Random-Access Memory.

A read/write memory in which the basic memory cell is a pair of metal-oxide semiconductor transistors. CMOS is an implementation of S-RAM that has very low power consumption, but might be less dense than other S-RAM implementations.
